This includes leadership that optimizes multidisciplinary and inter departmental cooperation, to efficiently and effectively allocate and manage resources for best patient care. Provide and support training to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice. You will be employed by Southern NSW Local Health District. The position is primarily located at the facility applied for. Secondary appointments within other facilities may occur by mutual agreement. Undertake supervision and education within the clinical environment of junior medical staff and other relevant staff to foster safe clinical practice. Demonstrated significant experience in management of stroke patients. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement. Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to all aspects of clinical governance. Demonstrated commitment to participation in on-call rosters and providing timely on-site responses. Demonstrated ability to consistently display a commitment to, and compliance with, and leadership in high quality Customer Service, Workplace Diversity, Occupational Health & Safety and Industrial Democracy principles, practices and relevant legislation relating to these areas and an understanding of and commitment to the organisation's values. Demonstrate a history of clinical excellence, evidence of commitment to clinical leadership and evidence of achievements and effective outcomes in clinical leadership.
