This is a Materials Catalogue Administrator role with Ventia based in Melbourne, VIC, AU Ventia Role Seniority - mid level More about the Materials Catalogue Administrator role at Ventia About The Role The Material Catalogue Administrator role is responsible to ensure all supplier prices are maintained accurately in the Ventia materials catalogue for the designs and projects to capture the right price to our client. This is a Full-time Fixed term opportunity for 12 months based in Victoria. Key Responsibilities Price follow-ups with suppliers, Add/maintain new materials required for designs in CIMS material catalogue, so we capture right cost to the client. Declare Free Issue materials in the catalogue, their contract expiry date uploads in CIMS. Build good relationship with vendors to acquire long validity fixed pricings for long term business relationships, cost saving and stability, resulting in the improving cash flow management. Maintaining accurate price in SAP/CIMS, Follow-up with supplier for valid pricings to comply with Ventia Business Agreements. Fixing issues with materials catalogue system, identifying and resolving FIM expiry date issues in SAP/CIMS as and when designers encounters while design sign off. SAP-CIMS catalogue update for PLS Team to capture the material info like part numbers, right descriptions, pricings etc. Development and building CIMS catalogue system for its high benefits like implementing multiple supplier module, defining Kit and its component information to the BOQ's, Description updates for clear UoM understanding, defining MOQ, pack size & order multiples set up to avoid over ordering, helps to overcome PO volume amendments to PLS team. Periodic communication with designers to give them an update on POA items, recommended alternative sourcing, multiple suppliers set up for equivalent materials in the Ventia catalogue, resolving any material issues. Qualifications Proven experience in Material management, supply chain, material master data management, advance excel, cloud-based SAP MM or SAP HANA experience is added advantage. Attention to detail is must. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advance MS Excel is must. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments. Preferred Skills SAP Material Management or similar, MRP, Ariba or similar software Certification in Supply Chain Management and Logistics or similar will add advantage MS Office Suite, Advance Excel, cloud-based system software like SAP HANA will add advantage.
