You will have the opportunity to: Lead the development and oversight of holistic Recreation and Engagement programs that meet the diverse needs, preferences and aspirations of residents, as identified through assessment and ongoing consultation. Coordinate all aspects of special events, including entertainment, catering, decorations and related logistics. Complete comprehensive assessments, including life history, to inform and update each resident’s integrated care plan. Develop and maintain community partnerships that support meaningful engagement and enrich residents’ lives. Ensure programs reflect each resident’s needs and preferences, promoting choice, independence and meaningful engagement. About You: We are excited to hear from you about this role! We are looking out for: Minimum of a Certificate IV Leisure and Health or Certificate III/IV in Individual Support with demonstrated experience in the leisure and health field Demonstrated experience in planning and facilitating meaningful leisure, recreation and lifestyle programs for individuals and groups Knowledge of best practice approaches within Recreational/Diversional therapy and aged care.
