We are looking for a Construction Project Engineer V.I.E. F/M who will be excited to work on the Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade – Stage 1 (QLD) . Seymour Whyte is delivering key components of this major rail upgrade, including new track duplication, road overpasses and station improvements. What can you expect as a Construction Project Engineer @Seymour Whyte? As part of the Seymour Whyte teams, you will play a key role in supervising a specific worksite area while working closely with construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and more. Your key responsibilities will include, and not be limited to: Project Delivery & Site Coordination Track and report daily productivity for assigned tasks. Assist with cost control and estimating as required by the Project Manager. Develop, track, and report on work schedules as needed. Help maintain the project’s drawing register as required. Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Handle all HSEQ duties as outlined in the Project’s Management Plans and related documents. Identify and escalate risks that could affect the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of activities. Manage quality production according to approved method statements and ITPs, monitoring construction progress to ensure acceptable quality. Commercial & Procurement Support Verify subcontractor claims and variations. Manage procurement tasks, ensuring compliance with SWC governance and authority limits.
