The Role Global Ecosystem Sales is one of the core growth engines for Block Inc's Afterpay and Square businesses. We are building the future of fintech advertising through our Commerce Media Network, Ads, & Affiliates payments businesses. We are looking for an accomplished advertising sales professional with Commerce Media Network and advertising experience to join our Australia/New Zealand business. You will help build and run the advertising agency sales motion, transforming our approach to advertising across the Afterpay Media Network. The ideal candidate has experience in agency sales, including expertise in programmatic, social, commerce media, or retail media. This role offers cross-functional opportunities to work directly with ad tech partners, existing Afterpay merchants, and advertising agencies. You'll report to the VP, Advertising ANZ within our Client Partnerships team while working closely with our Media Strategy and Programmatic Partnerships teams. You will establish processes to support the ANZ sales business and drive sales to lead our growth in the ANZ market. This role requires strong collaboration and partnership with global sales, account management, and marketing teams. You Will: Bring a strategic, results-driven mindset to revenue growth and opportunity development across our Afterpay Media Network ecosystem. Build and execute strategic relationship plans with merchants/non-merchants in collaboration with the broader Buy Now Pay Later sales team, ensuring long-term success through proactive issue resolution and high-touch account management. Own revenue targets by identifying growth opportunities, expanding brand investment, and forecasting performance with precision. Be accountable for KPIs such as revenue attainment, client retention, and campaign performance metrics. Bring expertise in omnichannel programmatic advertising — including Connected TV, social, audio, display, video, native, dynamic creative, personalization, and programmatic out-of-home — to help merchants design and deliver full-funnel, data-led media strategies. Act as a subject-matter expert and evangelist for Afterpay Ads, enabling both clients and internal teams through education, training, and insight sharing. Lead innovation and evolution of the Afterpay Ad’s offerings by developing solutions to address industry challenges & ideally a storytelling approach to sales. . Leverage data and insights to identify campaign up-weight opportunities and propose channel diversification strategies, proactively pitching these solutions to merchants in partnership with the Buy Now Pay Later relationship managers Work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to identify opportunities, address challenges, and enhance the overall customer experience. Support sales and account team members, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture. You Have: 4 years of experience in media, ad tech, or martech — ideally in a client-facing commercial or strategy role. Familiarity with Buy Now Pay Later, e-commerce, or retail media networks (preferred but not required). Experience in programmatic media planning, digital sales, or account management with a strong understanding of omnichannel campaign execution. Demonstrated success hitting revenue targets and growing investment within agencies, enterprise or brand direct accounts. Strong relationships across Australia’s media agencies. The ability to build relationships within multiple vertical/industries Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or equivalent years of experience.
