About the Role We are seeking a proactive and commercially savvy Finance Business Partner to join our internal commercial finance team. This role will be based in Perth and offers the opportunity to work in a large professional services organisation, driving financial performance, building relationships across the business, and enhancing our reporting capabilities. Key responsibilities: Prepare and analyse management accounts, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance across cross centres. Partner with key stakeholders across the organisation to understand business requirements and provide financial support and guidance. Manage the budgeting and forecast process for parts of the business, including preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis. Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements, supporting informed decision-making. Develop and maintain reporting frameworks to provide timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting and analysis. Build strong relationships through effective partnering and proactive nature. About You The successful candidate will focus on partnering with the business to provide insight and analysis to support decision making towards achieving both Office and National strategic objectives. As such prior experience as a Business Partner is a must. Combined with: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CA, CPA or CIMA equivalent qualification. Professional Services experience is desirable. Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience in Power Query. Experience with Power BI is desirable, with a willingness to learn and grow your skillset. This role would suit someone with around 5 years of experience in Business Partnering, management accounting or financial analysis including budgeting and forecasting Why BDO?
