The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating and improving our internal ICT systems to support efficient operations and help deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients. Employee Recognition Responsibilities include: Collaborates with internal teams to gather detailed system requirements and translate operational needs, such as estimating, production scheduling, and project coordination into clear technical directions. Reviews current digital workflows used across quoting, inventory, installation coordination, and customer communication to understand how work is being carried out. Examines areas where processes slow down or create errors and recommends improved system behaviours and business practices that enhance efficiency and accuracy. Prepares structured project plans for system upgrades or new tools, outlining timelines, resourcing needs, and implementation approaches suitable for a manufacturing and construction-supply environment. Oversees the rollout of system enhancements by designing and executing test procedures that verify reliability, performance, and alignment with Walmay's quality standards. Produces clear user guides, training materials, and procedural documents while delivering training sessions to ensure staff confidently adopt updated systems. Drafts detailed functional requirements that developers or vendors can use when building or customising software to suit Walmay's operational needs. Uses process-mapping and data-modelling techniques to document how information flows through Walmay's quoting, production, and delivery systems, providing a blueprint for improved system architecture. Acts as the central point of contact for system-related inquiries, offering informed advice to help stakeholders make sound decisions throughout each stage of digital improvement projects. Works closely with users and technical teams to refine website tools, internal applications, and digital platforms so they better support product selection, specification assistance, and project management for clients and staff. To ensure that you are successful in this role you will possess/demonstrate: Relevant qualifications. At least 1 year of experience in a similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
