Description Job Description: Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate workshop staff activities. Conduct performance reviews to identify and recommend training. Foster and promote a positive and safe work environment. Collate timesheets for all workshop staff Operations & Workflow: Plan and schedule projects to meet deadlines. Allocate tasks and monitor progress. Optimize workflow for efficiency. Prepare & provide quotations for proposed repairs Organise and coordinate all 3rd party contractors Manage and coordinate all facility related upkeep/repairs etc Handle calls out side of normal hours as considered reasonable Quality Control: Implement quality assurance processes. Inspect work and enforce standards. Address and resolve quality issues promptly. Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce health and safety policies. Ensure compliance with industry regulations. Resource & Inventory Management: Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory. Order supplies and manage vendor relationships. Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients regarding project updates. Handle complaints and ensure customer satisfaction. Budget & Reporting: Monitor and control workshop budgets. Maintain accurate service records and reports. Job Requirement: Possess qualifications in Mobile Plant Mechanics or similar, or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of working experience in Mobile Plant workshop environment, with leadership experience. Possess safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) and management training are advantageous. Strong leadership and team management. Technical knowledge in mechanical heavy plant or automotive systems. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and workshop management software
