The Position This role will ignite dynamic leadership across the Wellbeing, Health and Safety Team, driving the powerful delivery of AlburyCity’s wellbeing, health, and safety frameworks and initiatives to create a thriving, safe, and supportive workplace for all. Qualifications & experience Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Business Management, Public Health or equivalent relevant work experience At least five years experience in a similar leadership role and within a large multifaceted organisation Qualified Return to Work Coordinator (WorkCover accredited) - (Desirable) First Aid Certificate (Desirable) Tasks & responsibilities Lead and manage the Wellbeing, Health and Safety Team including; performance management, training and development, workflow coordination, workforce planning and developing a high level of morale and harmony. Drive a partnering approach between your team and the business to improve safety performance, utilising holistic and contemporary approaches; Lead your team, across geographically dispersed sites, to ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety legislation, and statutory requirements; and Identify opportunities to improve the health and wellbeing of the workforce and lead the development and implementation of contemporary health and wellbeing initiatives Lead and implement a contemporary Employee Assistance Program Hours Based on a 35-hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
