About the Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Technician (Boilermaker) to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. This site-based role reports to the Mechanical Supervisor and operates on a 2:2 roster (day and night shift). Your focus will be on maintaining surface and underground equipment, ensuring reliable operations that meet operational targets and company standards. Your primary responsibilities will include: Inspecting equipment, troubleshooting failures, and identifying mechanical issues to implement solutions. Performing routine maintenance, repairs, and modifications on mining equipment. Utilising welding and metal fabrication to repair and construct equipment components and structures. Responding to breakdowns to minimise downtime and restore equipment quickly. Accurately documenting maintenance activities, equipment status, parts inventory, and work orders in the maintenance management system (MMS). Adhering to all safety standards, procedures, and processes while demonstrating exemplary behaviour. About You Our ideal candidate will have previous mechanical maintenance experience, including working with fixed plant processing equipment in the mining industry. Other key skills, experience, and qualifications: Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker / Welding). Proficiency in using MMS, such as Pronto or SAP. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. A current C-class manual driver’s licence.
