Suppose you're a Design Manager who enjoys being close to the details and working in a builder-developer environment. In that case, this is a strong opportunity to step into a pipeline of high-rise residential and mixed-use projects ranging from mid-rise through to significant developments approaching $1B. This group delivers 325-storey towers across Brisbane and the Gold Coast and is strengthening its in-house design capability to support ongoing growth. You'll manage design coordination across the concept, DA, documentation, and construction phases, working closely with architects, consultants, and internal delivery teams. This role suits someone comfortable working in Revit, understands the realities of buildability and sequencing, and prefers working in a fast-moving development and construction environment rather than sitting purely on the consultancy side. You'll be responsible for driving documentation quality, resolving design issues quickly, coordinating services and structural inputs, managing information flow, and ensuring the design aligns with budget, staging and construction methodology. You'lll work directly with the project teams and have a strong influence on outcomes, particularlyregardingd buildability, detailin,g and site integration. The right person will have experience in high-rise residential or mixed-use projects and will ideally come from a builder-developer or a design/engineering background with extensive exposure to construction delivery. You'll be confident using Revit, able to coordinate consultants effectively, and comfortable challenging and resolving design details when needed. Strong communication and the ability to work closely with site teams are essential. You'll be joining a business with secure work, quick decision-making, and a leadership team that values practical, technical design capability. This is a hands-on role with genuine influence across the lifecycle of each project and a long-term opportunity as the company continues to scale.
