About the Role We’re looking for a strategic and customer-focused Account Manager to join A&L and take ownership of high-value relationships across South East Queensland. This is a pivotal role that blends territory management with key account stewardship , ensuring long-term partnerships and delivering exceptional service to our most important clients. You’ll be predominantly on the road, proactively identifying new business opportunities while nurturing and expanding existing accounts. Your ability to plan, organise and execute sales strategies will be critical to exceeding your targets and strengthening our market position. Key Responsibilities Deepen product and industry knowledge to become a trusted advisor to key clients Manage a portfolio for a high-volume residential builder Conduct regular site visits and strategic reviews to understand pipeline and product needs Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution Analyse account performance and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities Develop tailored account plans and report on KPIs Act as the primary contact for escalations and ensure swift resolution About You Proven experience in key account management within the construction industry Strong technical aptitude and product knowledge (windows and doors highly advantageous) Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams Understanding of regulatory and industry requirements What’s on Offer Competitive base salary uncapped incentive based on new business revenue Fully serviced vehicle, laptop and mobile Flexible working hours Generous product discounts Paid birthday leave Christmas/New Year shutdown Career progression within a 4,500-employee group Next Steps If you’re highly organised, relationship-focused and ready to make your mark in a growing business, we’d love to hear from you.
