Job Description About the role In this role you will engage with category managers, relevant business partners and stakeholders in conducting data analysis, agreed sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract implementation and management activities, and validating benefits claims in accordance with approved category plans and the overarching portfolio plan. This position is an initial 12-month contract. Key responsibilities: Support the team across all categories to deliver agreed activities as set out in category plans or in response to business needs. Lead procurement initiatives to deliver value to the business Conduct evaluation processes to determine optimal supply sources Draft, negotiate and implement contractual agreements Conduct analysis of spend and supply markets to identify new opportunities to save money, innovate, improve service and reduce risk Review spend commitments to ensure compliance to policies and agreed strategies
