Location: Glenbrook, Sydney Clearance: NV1 Security Clearance - Mandatory Work Arrangement: Onsite, 5 days per week Start Date: January 2026 Salary: $140k-$160k super About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer a critical Defence project. This is a permanent position requiring full-time onsite.You will deliver innovative data solutions and collaborate closely with both internal and client teams. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, as you'll engage with diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities Develop and author reports using Microsoft Power BI Desktop Build tabular models (SSAS Projects) using Microsoft Visual Studio with RDS Manage database objects via SQL Server Management Studio Sync content using GIT tools and Azure DevOps Repo Configure DevOps release pipelines, security setups (including RLS), and manage Power BI portal content Parameterize SQL Direct Query data source connections What We're Looking For 6 years of relevant experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Advanced expertise in Power BI, DAX, and SQL Experience with cloud data warehouse solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure) Familiarity with SSIS, ADF, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Strong project management and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment If you hold an active NV1 clearance and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.
