About the job Providing leadership in day-to-day store operations to ensure EzyMart business objectives are achieved. Creating and maintaining a safe, clean and secure environment for customers and staff, particularly given the high foot-traffic location in Surfers Paradise. Managing inventory control functions, including stock ordering, stocktakes, daily cash reconciliation, banking, and administrative reporting. Delivering an exceptional customer experience to foster repeat customers. Responding to customer complaints promptly and professionally, following EzyMart guidelines to maintain service integrity. Selecting products and implementing competitive pricing by analysing market trends and supplier offerings to enhance sales performance. Executing promotional activities, visual displays and marketing campaigns tailored to the local tourist and resident customer base. Analysing financial and operational reports, including daily sales summaries and profitability metrics. Ensuring all operational, merchandising and retail standards set by EzyMart are consistently met. Managing staffing functions including hiring, induction, training and ongoing performance review of team members. Monitoring individual and store-wide performance to ensure service benchmarks, sales targets and operational KPIs are achieved. Forecasting and controlling the store’s budget to ensure efficient expenditure and sustained profitability. Preparing efficient staff rosters that balance wage costs while maintaining strong customer service coverage during peak and off-peak periods. Controlling operational costs while maintaining product availability, store presentation and service quality. Coordinating the receipt of stock deliveries and ensuring timely and effective merchandising of products across the store. Ensuring all occupational health, safety and hygiene standards are adhered to by staff at all times. Skills and experience required At least one year’s experience in a similar role is required. A minimum Diploma in Business Qualification is required. Management experience ideally in a fast-paced retail environment A true passion for retail & growing your retail management career Good communication skills Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
