About the Role The Alice Springs Tour Manager is responsible for ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction. Their role encompasses various responsibilities and skills, including: Key Responsibilities: Facilitation of On train - Oversee all aspects of accommodation services, including booking, check-in/check-out procedures, and housekeeping operations. Staff Leadership : Recruit, train, and supervise team members, ensuring all staff provide exceptional customer service. Guest Relations : Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests, addressing any issues or complaints promptly and effectively. Financial Management : Prepare budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to maximise revenue and control costs. Health and Safety Compliance : Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff. Customer Experience Enhancement : Continuously seek ways to improve guest experiences, gather feedback, and implement service enhancements. Skills and Qualifications: Experience : Previous work experience in a hospitality or accommodation setting, demonstrating leadership and management skills. Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with guests and team members. Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to quickly identify issues and provide effective solutions. Financial Acumen : Understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control in a hospitality context.
