The Role: About the role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proven Inventory officer to join their team located in Bankstown. To be successful, you will have sound Stores/Warehouse knowledge and customer service experience, you have excellent communication skills, and are able to interpret and understand their requirements and provide appropriate solutions. This is a full time role working Monday to Friday. Responsibilities and Attributes: Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock Enter purchase details (vendors information, invoices and pricing) into internal databases Place orders to replenish stock as needed Track shipments and address any delays Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams Keep updated inventory records Ensure purchases do not exceed budget If you enjoy working in a quick thinking, energetic and fast paced warehouse environment, and selecting products accurately, safely and efficiently to deliver to stores around the states, have excellent reading and numerical skills and take immense pride in your work, then this is an opportunity you should not miss. This is an on-going role, the successful candidates will be offered a roster offering an average of 30-38hrs per week. Shifts available: 7am - 3pm (Dayshift) - can change to 6am or 10am 3pm - 11pm (Afternoon Shift) Payrates: $32-$36 per hour Super Required skills & attributes: Valid police check or willing to obtain before commencement Ideally have RF scanning experience A current forklift license would be a bonus Minimum 1 Year experience operating forklift Attention to detail is key and the desire to grow within the role and organisation A thorough understanding of Warehousing Operations would be advantageous Flexible, enthusiastic and able to use initiative Have a sound knowledge and understanding of OH&S Have sound knowledge of Manual Handling Practices Proven track history of loading/unloading trucks Understand weight distribution for loading/unloading trucks Solid history in warehousing or logistics Good communication and problem-solving skills High focus on quality and productivity Motivated, hardworking and reliable Flexible with finishing times to ensure order completion Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Must be able to work unsupervised and use initiative To apply please click the "apply now" button below and attach your cover letter and resume.
