Job Title: QA Tester - Identity & Access Management (IDAM) Project: User Lifecycle Uplift Location: Melbourne (Hybrid) Duration - 3 Months - Client has a preference for 3 days a week only of work, but will consider 5 days for the right resource About the Project The User Lifecycle Uplift initiative aims to establish a governed, automated, and consistent contractor identity lifecycle. The goal is to reduce manual effort, enforce least-privilege access, and ensure identities are created, maintained, and retired predictably and securely. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced QA Tester to perform end-to-end identity-based integration testing for the User Lifecycle Uplift project. This role will validate workflows, automation, and compliance across multiple systems, ensuring robust identity lifecycle management. Key Responsibilities Execute end-to-end testing of identity lifecycle processes, including: Joiner-Mover-Leaver workflows : onboarding, renewal, offboarding, urgent termination, inactivity disablement, and identity hygiene checks. Validate automated provisioning and deprovisioning through Entra ID orchestration for accuracy, resilience, and compliance with tier-based access rules. Test ServiceNow workflows to ensure lifecycle events trigger correctly without manual intervention. Verify audit traceability across all identity actions. Assess non-functional requirements : Near-real-time fulfilment Retry logic Alert generation for failures Confirm governance and compliance for: Licence allocation/removal Sponsor validation Reporting capabilities Collaborate with architects, project managers, and technical leads to ensure timely delivery in an Agile environment (2-week sprints). Technical Skills & Experience Strong experience in identity and integration testing within IDAM environments . Familiarity with: ServiceNow forms and workflows (primary triggers) API testing (understanding good vs. bad response codes) Data validation and reporting Exposure to: Entra ID (Azure AD) orchestration Boomi (bonus) GitHub (useful for version control and collaboration) Understanding of identity lifecycle hygiene and compliance frameworks. Ability to work in Agile delivery cycles with frequent feature drops. Soft Skills Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Architects, PMs, Tech Leads). Proactive in identifying gaps and suggesting improvements.
