How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space: The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do. Provide in-house legal support to the business on a range of matters, including: Contracts and procurement; Employment (e.g. visas, employment contracts, and fair work matters); Space regulation and approvals; Government approvals (local, State, and federal); and Governance. Draft and review contracts, policies, leases, and other documentation. Support compliance to standards and regulatory requirements. Liaise with various stakeholders internally on diverse issues. Advise and stay up-to-date on a broad range of matters relating to the business including regulatory, governance and employment matters. Coordinate visa processing and help with relocation requirements. Ensure all files and records are maintained in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies and procedures. Ensure HR legal compliance within Gilmour Space. Other duties as requested by Management. Mandatory Qual ifications, Skills and Experience: Bachelor of Laws or equivalent. Admission in Australia with a right to practice in Queensland. At least two years PQE. Ability to produce practical, commercially aware and context-appropriate advice. Clear and concise communication style. Australian citizen, a permanent resident or unlimited working rights in Australia. Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience Commercial in-house experience (start-up experience or exposure highly regarded). Strong on one or more of commercial/corporate law and workplace/employment law. Experience on a broad range of legal matters. Outcomes-focused, creative thinker, and able to thrive in the hyper-paced Gilmour Space environment. NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred.
