With the rapid growth of our business, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Mining Supervisor to support our teams on exciting civil projects. As Civil Mining Supervisor , you will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with legislation and client requirements, and supporting the productivity of operators across diverse civil and mining projects. Our typical scope of works are currently rehabilitation works, general earthworks, non-process infrastructure civil construction on Iron Ore Mine sites with multiple projects under way, and others in the pipeline. Your Role Will Include Manage, liaise with, and manage staff, sub-contractors and suppliers, by suitably selecting, evaluating, monitoring, and controlling performance and meeting of deliverables. Manage and coordinate machine maintenance and associated registers. Plan for, implement, monitor and adhere to policies and procedures, of both the company and the client, and all other stakeholders as required. Convey various construction information to company management including statistics, budget information, personnel and sub-contractor performance, and contribute to company strategic plans and reviews, and implementation of company quality and customer-service standards. Resolve problems and identify construction management system improvements. Meet construction budgets and timeframes through implementation of suitable controls, monitoring, managing, and reporting. Understand the contract, scopes of works, engineering specifications and drawings, and identify variations under the contract to any of the commercial and/or technical requirements. Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment by ensuring standards and any legal regulations are complied with. Enhance the companies reputation by exploring opportunities to add value to projects and communicating this with clients. Seek out, communicate, obtain approvals for change, and implement various improvements in methodology to improve on project safety, quality, budget, and timeframe. Provide planning and logistical support. Participate in various company improvement forums, ie lessons learnt, procedural reviews etc. Networking and representation of the company to promote/nurture future business prospects. Other project related duties as required. What You’ll Bring Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar environment supervising projects in bulk earthworks, roads (new & maintenance), camp/office pads, trenching etc Hold a valid HR Licence (C Class minimum) Must hold a current White Card Hold a National Police Clearance within 12 months Schedule 26 qualifications completed (or prepared to complete) Sound computer competency as well as communication skills 4WD Ticket (or willing to attend course) Willing to undertake and pass Pre Employment Medical & LABDAS Strong communication skills with proven ability to build effective relationships across project teams and clients Construction White Card — mandatory Valid Australian work rights What We Offer Full‑time permanent position Competitive salary (base Uplift) Collaborative and supportive team environment focused on growth and development Fortnightly pay Pre‑employment Requirements Successful candidates will need to: Complete a pre‑employment medical Pass initial and ongoing drug & alcohol screening Provide a current Police Clearance Comply with Garli’s Drug & Alcohol Policy Garli Culture At Garli Group, we believe in developing our people.
