About the role An exciting opportunity is available for an Assistant Facility Manager to support the Senior Facility Manager with the day-to-day maintenance and operation of building services at a Brisbane West shopping centre. You will help ensure the asset is safe, compliant, presented in optimal condition, and serviced in line with legislative requirements, while keeping customer and guest experience front of mind. Duties Coordinate maintenance and daily services across the centre Manage contractors and suppliers including inductions and on site WHS compliance Monitor key building services including HVAC and vertical transport Spot issues early and drive timely, quality repairs and upkeep Keep cleaning and security performing to KPI and presentation standards Support tenancy works and fit outs with minimal disruption and full compliance Assist with OPEX and CAPEX, approvals, reporting and small project delivery Maintain statutory registers and support broader compliance and risk Duty Manager coverage after hours as required Skills and experience Retail, hospitality or building management exposure is highly desirable Understanding of Australian Standards, NCC, HSE, DDA, WHS compliance and risk management Strong administration, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment Mechanical or electrical trade qualification or tertiary qualification preferred High level of IT proficiency including Microsoft Office How to apply Apply today or contact us for a confidential discussion.
