Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Service Technician (Motor/Diesel Mechanic) to support the maintenance and repair of machinery across our farms, feedmill and biogas facilities. Reporting to the Biogas and Equipment and Servicing Manager this role is based within an hour of Goondiwindi, QLD and is perfect for a mechanically minded person, who enjoys problem solving, variety, and working across a range of agricultural systems and equipment. Job stability and supportive leadership Ongoing training opportunities for professional growth Description About the Role Your main responsibilities will include: Maintaining and repairing farm, feed mill and biogas plant equipment to ensure operational reliability Diagnosing and repairing diesel, petrol and biogas engines and related systems Performing preventative maintenance, lubrication and mechanical adjustments Carrying out welding, fabrication and the repair of piping and equipment Assist with fleet maintenance, safety documentation and workshop duties Skills And Experiences About You In our ideal candidate, we're seeking: A qualified Motor/Diesel Mechanic or equivalent trade certification (certification is not necessary if you have relevant and recent industry experience) Strong mechanical aptitude and 2 years' experience with agricultural or industrial equipment Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills Safety-focused with attention to quality and compliance Team player with effective communication and record-keeping skills SunPork Group is an equal opportunity employer.
