Overall Purpose of the Position: Reporting to the General Manager - ADL,BNE,DRW & PER, the Station Manager, Perth will be responsible for the leadership and quality delivery of optimised Ground Services (Ramp and Passenger Services) to ensure and effective service meeting and exceeding the company's and our clients expectations. Based at Perth Airport, the Station Manager, Perth will manage the strategic development, stakeholder management, and delivery of whole of port services within an environment of sensitivities, constraints and competing stakeholder priorities. The ideal candidate will encompass a 'can-do attitude' who wholeheartedly works with the business and our valued clients to find solutions as opposed to predicaments. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the strategic development and delivery of quality client centric, commercially focused operations including the management, organisation and coordination of all work areas of the ports operations; Lead, manage and develop a diverse team including coaching and mentoring and performance feedback to achieve high levels of performance and integrated service excellence; Engage and negotiate with stakeholders on strategic issues related to policy, standards and regulations as well as providing expert advice and being an advocate for customer focus across the business; Key person for engagement and consultation to ensure the delivery of a wide range of stakeholder expectations, diverse interests and demands, stakeholders including: Airline Representatives, Airport Authorities and third-party suppliers; Maintaining close working relationships with dnata Australia operational and support departments. Ensuring a “one dnata” approach to service delivery and realising the dnata Vision, Mission and Values; Ensure all resource requirements within all work areas are being adequately managed to meet Service Level Agreements and in line with budget parameters; Ensure that legislative and regulatory frameworks are applied consistently and effectively across the port; operational results to ensure targets in all areas are being met or exceeded. Initiate and manage improvement plans with internal and external stakeholders to maximise efficiency, revenue and profit; Lead, influence and enhance critical business processes and standard operating procedures ensuring compliance to industry standards, legislation and dnata Airport Services’ policy and procedure; Provide quality metrics and reporting on critical business issues; Set standards and exercise due diligence to ensure work health and safety risks are addressed WH&S Responsibilities: Comply with the dnata WH&S Policy and related Group Policies Comply with legislative WH&S requirements Develop and maintain a positive safety culture, focused on awareness & vigilance Conduct work in accordance with dnata's WH&S Management System and customer WH&S requirements Follow all safety work procedures, adhering to all safety guidelines provided Attend WH&S induction and training as directed by the business When applicable, wear the required personal protective clothing and equipment Essential Criteria: Extensive leadership experience (5 years preferred) with customer centric orientation and ability to drive a service culture; Highly developed communication skills both written and oral and excellent presentation skills; Demonstrated record of achievement in building and fostering relationships with key stakeholders and clients; Extensive experience in engaging and influencing staff to ensure the delivery of a wide range of stakeholder expectations, diverse interests and demands; Previous extensive experience in a highly controlled and regulated industry with the ability to lead, translate, implement and manage ongoing compliance, industry standards and legislative requirements; Demonstrated business acumen including, financial and budget management and experience in driving culture change and continuous business improvement. Demonstrated experience in business process review and re engineering to ensure best practice service delivery. Can do attitude and sense of humour - essential!
