Blacktown Workers Club is seeking a friendly, experienced, well presented and vibrant Cellar / Loading dock customer service professional to join our team primarily working at Blacktown Workers and Workers Sports Club in Blacktown. About the role We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cellar Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with our Cellar team to receive and distribute goods accordingly, ensuring all bars have sufficient stock as required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for team work and enthusiasm for their duties. This is a permanent part-time position with evening and weekend shifts. Above award rates Monday - Friday $ 29.32 p/h Saturday $ 43.99 p/h Duties within this role include Report to the Cellar / Stock Manager or CSM when starting work, finishing work or taking a meal break Read the diary and correct any problems from the previous day Check diary/resume for special function stock requirements Check on the club’s requirements for the day including kegs Arrange beer into each bar area as required for the day’s trade Turn on all other equipment (compressor, beer reticulation) Take ice to all bar areas as required Distribute stock to all bar areas Maintain and check stock levels during the day Carry out maintenance routines on equipment Receiving food / stock deliveries arriving on the loading dock Storing deliveries Follow food safety requirements and maintain food safety records Maintain cleaning routine and records Pickup and deliver items as requested Ensure stock rotation and check for out of date stock and record wastage Take deliveries and distribute to relevant areas for storage within the business e.g Uniforms, stock, stationary, linen and promotional material Any other duties as requested by Management that are of a fair and reasonable nature Requirements At least 12 months experience in a Cellar / Loading dock environment Current NSW RSA competency (essential or willing to obtain) Current Forklift License (essential or willing to obtain) Food Safety training (essential) https://www.foodauthority.nsw.gov.au/training/food-handler-basics-training Class C Driver’s License Ability to follow instruction and use initiative Ability to speak, read and understand clear, concise and fluent English Ability to understand written and verbal instructions Basic computer skills with word, excel and outlook systems Manual Handling experience - heavy lifting required Willing to undergo a pre employment medical and pre employment checks Benefits Above award rates Employee Assistance Program Donate blood leave Staff events and raffles Uniforms provided Training & Development opportunities Undercover parking About Us By any measure, the story of Workers Lifestyle Group is a proud record of achievement.
