Your role at St John of God Frankston Hospital The Grade 1/2 Physiotherapist works alongside the Multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical physiotherapy to clients/patients using evidence based clinical practice skills. Ensures practice is in accordance to Australian Physiotherapy Association Code of Conduct and SJGHC policies and guidelines. The Position Provide high quality evidence based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments where applicable. Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers including active participation in the multidisciplinary team meetings Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities Participate in the physiotherapy department weekend roster if required. Responsible for completing appropriate administrative duties arising from each session instructed. This requires liaison with the office administration team, reporting of statistical data and completion of clinical documentation. Attend staff meetings and present at professional development sessions as required. Accepts responsibility for maintaining and strengthening own professional knowledge and expertise. Maintenance of own continuing professional development portfolio as required Promote a positive safety culture within their areas by demonstrating a positive commitment to OHS. You will hold a registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist and will have a demonstrated understanding of effective verbal and written communication skills. To succeed in this multi disciplinary team, you will have recent experience in Physiotherapy services in relevant clinical settings including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments.
