Description The Role - A Day in the Life of a SEE Team Leader As a SEE Team Leader, you will provide Team Leader and Operational support to SEE Program Trainers to facilitate and provide engaging & interactive training to jobseekers to improve their language, literacy, numeracy and computer skills in order to assist them in obtaining sustainable employment This role focuses on compliance within SEE Program Service Provider Instructions, supporting participant engagement, and driving performance outcomes through coaching mentoring and quality assurance. Your Key Responsibilities will include; Coordinate and oversee the delivery of accredited and non-accredited training in accordance with SEE Program contractual guidelines and ETC’s approved service delivery models. To support the Operations Manager in providing operational leadership, mentoring, and guidance to SEE Trainers and Participant Support Officers. Coordinate interactive group activities and experiential learning opportunities, such as learning hubs and simulated workplaces, to engage participants with low LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy, Digital) skills. Support trainers in implementing personalised learning strategies and provide direct coaching and job search support to participants. Engage with external partners, referral agencies, and Workforce Australia Services (WAS) to optimise participant pathways to further training and employment. Monitor team performance against SEE contract Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), implementing strategies for continuous improvement and compliance Skills And Experiences Criteria for Success Hold a current TAE40116 OR TAE40122; and TAESS00009 Address Foundation Skills in Vocational Practice Skill Set; or a higher level education qualification, such as: TAE80113 Graduate Diploma of Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Practice (and its equivalent TAE70111); or Bachelor of Education, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Education, or higher. This may include qualifications relating to TESOL, adult education or vocational education Strong knowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Ability to manage performance and drive continuous improvement Ability to engage with a diverse range of participants, including CALD, youth, etc. Previous experience in mentoring and coaching High level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including computer literacy Ability to provide effective advisory and coaching support Demonstrated experience working effectively in a team situation Excellent time management skills Current clear Working With Children Check or Blue Card (QLD) and National Police Check Current Drivers Licence and ability to travel across the ETC regions Why work for ETC We pride ourselves on offering a positive work culture and environment for employees to achieve their best.
