Vacancies Clinical Lead, The Link (Hobart) The Link Youth Health Services Location: Southern Tasmania Occupation: Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work Position Type: Casual / Contract / Locum The Link Youth Health Service is seeking an inspiring Clinical Lead to join its leadership team and help shape the delivery of high-quality, youth-focused health and mental health services across Southern Tasmania. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced allied health professional to guide multidisciplinary teams, champion clinical excellence, and contribute to innovative service development for young people aged 12–25. The Position The Clinical Lead is a key leadership role providing clinical oversight, supervision, and coordination across The Link and headspace Hobart programs. Working closely with the Clinical Manager and Senior Management Team, the role supports the delivery of inclusive, evidence-based services and ensures high standards of care across the clinical workforce and outreach locations. In this role, the Clinical Lead will: Provide clinical and line supervision to staff, private practitioners, and students. Support clinical governance, oversee clinical risk, and ensure high-quality documentation and review processes. Lead and refine clinical policies, procedures, and service delivery models. Guide multidisciplinary teams and contribute to strategic organisational planning. Maintain effective stakeholder relationships to support integrated care pathways. Carry a clinical caseload during periods of high demand. Contribute to service innovation, quality improvement, and youth/family participation initiatives. To succeed in this role, the Clinical Lead will have: Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, mental health nursing, or occupational therapy Full registration with AHPRA, AASW, or a relevant professional body Advanced clinical skills in youth health, including triage, assessment, and referral Experience providing clinical supervision and leading multidisciplinary teams Strong skills in clinical governance, risk management, and continuous quality improvement Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills The ability to work effectively with young people, families, and key stakeholders The role also requires: A current Working with Vulnerable People Registration A National Police Check A current driver’s licence Flexibility to travel and undertake occasional after-hours work (including weekends and evenings) The Organisation The Link Youth Health Service is a trusted, long-standing provider of youth health, mental health, alcohol and other drug, and wellbeing services for young people aged 12–25 across Southern Tasmania.
