Description We currently have an opportunity for an Estimator – Hard FM in Melbourne to join our Strategy and Growth team and play a key role in delivering accurate, competitive tenders that support our essential services and growth objectives. Reporting to the Facilities Hard Estimation Team Lead, you’ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that safeguard profitability and strengthen client partnerships. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Prepare accurate tenders and quotations that meet technical standards and client requirements. Conduct site visits across Australia and New Zealand to assess assets, risks, and scope (Domestic and International travel will be required). Collaborate with Commercial Analysts, Business Development Executives, and Operations teams to ensure competitive pricing strategies. Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to secure accurate and cost-effective quotations. Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes for efficiency and clarity. What You’ll Bring Trade or technical qualifications with industry experience; refrigeration, electrical, or plumbing knowledge is highly advantageous. Strong commercial, numerical, and analytical skills with advanced Excel capability. Experience in Hard Facilities Maintenance or related environments, ideally within tendering or estimation. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships. A proactive mindset, strong time management, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
