About the Company Our client is a respected, family-owned commercial landscaping business working across Brisbane and SEQ. They partner with major builders and developers on a wide variety of projects, including high-rise surrounds, townhouse communities, schools, industrial estates, aged-care facilities and government infrastructure. With multiple projects underway, they are seeking a hands-on, reliable operator to step into a key role within the team. What’s on Offer $45 - $60 per hour depending on experience. Steady 40 - 45 hours per week. Overtime available. Supportive owner with weekly site visits and daily communication. Stable long-term role with opportunities for progression. Work across diverse, high-quality commercial projects. About the Role This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who has completed their landscaping trade and is ready to step up into a leadership role while still working on the tools. You will : Lead day-to-day operations on commercial job sites Work with a small crew (typically you 1 labourer machinery) Operate small machinery (posi, excavator etc.) Carry out drainage works, irrigation basics and soiling up Set out plants and read landscape plans Liaise with builders/site managers Coordinate materials, deliveries and forward-planning Maintain site quality, safety and presentation This is not a desk or site-shed role - it’s an active, outdoors position leading by example. Projects You’ll Work On Typical work includes: High-rise and townhouse developments. New school builds and extensions. Department of Housing projects. Police stations and public infrastructure. Commercial and industrial sites. Work is Brisbane-based, with only minimal Gold Coast travel. Requirements About You We’re looking for someone who is: Trade-qualified landscaper (or similar). Strong work ethic, reliable, trustworthy. Physically fit and enjoys hands-on work. Competent with machinery and general landscape construction. Confident reading plans and setting out works. Comfortable dealing with builders and subbies. Keen for long-term growth and progression. Plant knowledge (incl. botanical names) is highly regarded.
