The Role: We’re seeking a skilled Lift Repair Electrician who thrives on hands-on, ground-up repair work. This role suits someone who enjoys diagnosing faults without relying on a guide—using their electrical and mechanical expertise to restore lift systems with precision. You’ll carry out detailed inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on lift equipment, working both on the bench and onsite across Greater Sydney. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair lift electrical and mechanical faults Complete bench repairs, electrical testing, and component rebuilds Conduct mechanical inspections to ensure safety and compliance Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings Repair or replace faulty parts with accuracy and care Adhere to WHS and industry safety standards Work independently while supporting the team when needed About You We’re looking for a Lift Repair Mechanic / Electrician who genuinely enjoys repairing lifts not just routine maintenance. You love problem-solving, fault-finding, tinkering and bringing complex systems back to life. You’ll bring: A valid NSW Electrical Licence (must-have) Experience in lift, hoist, crane, or similar mechanical/electrical repair work 3 years mechanical/electrical fault-finding experience Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues without guidance Ability to read schematics and understand motor control systems NSW Driver’s Licence Strong independence, initiative, and a safety-first mindset we want someone who is a self starter, critical thinker and gets the job done.
