Job Title: Defence Cyber GRC Analyst Location: Melbourne Engagement: 12-month fixed term contract Salary: $150,000 - $160,000 inclusive of super Clearance: Baseline (minimum) We are seeking an experienced Cyber GRC Analyst to join a major Work Order Management Upgrade Program within the Defence sector. This role will play a critical part in supporting compliance, uplift activities, and assurance across cyber governance, risk, and control frameworks. Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments against the Essential Eight Framework and provide recommendations for uplift Gather, validate, and prepare evidence for internal and external audits Facilitate remediation activities arising from audit findings, assessments, and identified risks Support compliance activities related to the ASCS Information Security Manual (ISM) Work with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with DISP and DSPF requirements Contribute to cyber assurance, governance documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives Skills & Experience Baseline security clearance (minimum) — must be active Strong knowledge of: Essential Eight Maturity Model ASCS ISM DISP and DSPF frameworks Experience supporting cyber governance, risk, assurance, or compliance activities Strong documentation and evidence-gathering skills Ability to work effectively within Defence or other highly regulated environments Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination capability About the Opportunity This is a 12-month fixed term engagement within a high-profile Defence program, offering the opportunity to support cyber uplift at scale and contribute directly to improved security outcomes across the organisation.
