About the role As a Cleaner, this is your opportunity to maintain a clean and hygienic environment of all the buildings, vehicles and surrounds at The Salvation Army Bendigo, including but not limited to: the Community Services Building, Cafe, Food Pantry, Shelter Shed, Worship Centre, Workshop, Gardens Toilet and Bridge Building. Reporting to the Corps Officer, this is a permanent part-time role offering 15 hours, located in Bendigo, VIC. How you will make an impact Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the bathrooms, common areas, vehicles, offices and surrounds. Follow the Bendigo site cleaning schedule and complete all tasks as listed. Observe all Covid 19 recommended personal and cleaning practices as documented by DHHS. Ensure chemicals and other domestic products are stored safely and securely to meet the relevant MSDS guidelines. Ensure containers and dispensers are replenished and functional at all times and provide cleaning aids for clients to use during work sections What you will bring Relevant qualification and/or experience in Hygiene and Cleaning materials and methods. Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) regulation and storage of chemicals.
