Description Information Management Technology Systems (IMTS) Fixed-term, full-time appointment (12 months) Level 6/7: $94,988 - $117,633 17% superannuation The IT Risk Officer supports the operational delivery of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) through the identification, and assessment of information security risks associated with UOW operations and to provide cyber security subject matter expertise, risk assessment, education and training to the University stakeholders. This position plays a key role in educating stakeholders in relation to Information Security risk (e.g., Technology and Cyber) and promotes the use of the relevant policies and procedures designed to reduce and better manage these risks. It has responsibility for ensuring the stakeholders understand and comply with the risk management frameworks and practices. IT Risk Officer also plays an integral role to establish, implement and maintain the Information Security Management System (aligned to ISO27001:2022 and NIST) under the supervision of the Cyber Security practice and in consultation with the University’s Risk and Assurance Division.
