Job Summary: As our Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving growth and delivering exceptional customer outcomes across Australia and New Zealand by managing a portfolio of existing customers and expanding our footprint across the public transport sector. The role combines the commercial accountability of account management with the proactive engagement of customer success, focusing on strengthening relationships with existing customers, ensuring adoption and value realisation, while identifying and converting new opportunities that drive recurring revenue growth. You’ll work closely with our customers to promote the value of our software and technology solutions, aligning them with the operational, regulatory, and commercial needs of public and private transport operators, government authorities, and contracted service providers. Job Description: You’ll have the opportunity to: Act as the primary commercial contact for assigned customers across ANZ, ensuring clear ownership of renewals, expansions, and customer satisfaction. Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with operational, commercial, and executive stakeholders. Develop and execute account plans incorporating growth strategies, risk management, and retention initiatives. Proactively manage contract renewals and customer lifecycle engagement to ensure high retention and on-time renewals. Identify and deliver upsell and cross-sell opportunities that align with customer needs and business priorities. Collaborate with our Consulting and Customer Care teams to uncover new opportunities and ensure delivery outcomes support customer value. Lead commercial discussions including pricing, renewals, and proposals in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Conduct regular business reviews to measure adoption, performance, and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline updates, and account records in Salesforce. Represent Trapeze at customer meetings, reviews, and industry forums to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities. Provide market and customer insights to inform go-to-market strategies and product development priorities. Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets through renewals, expansions, and new service opportunities. What you’ll bring to the role: Proven experience as an Account Manager or Customer Success Manager in enterprise software, SaaS, or technology solutions. Strong commercial acumen and experience managing renewals, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations. Experience using customer health metrics or success plans to forecast retention and growth. Demonstrated ability to balance customer advocacy with commercial accountability. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM for managing pipeline, forecasting, and account plans. Strategic thinker with the ability to connect customer outcomes to business value. Highly motivated, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel throughout Australia and New Zealand to support customer relationships and business growth.
