Introduction The Opportunity This is a key leadership role within our Group Training division. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll lead national operational functions, drive continuous improvement, and ensure our apprentice and trainee services remain compliant, efficient, and ready for audit at any time. You’ll have the authority to make decisions, standardise processes across states, and guide the way we deliver Group Training now and into the future. What You’ll Lead Strengthening Operations Review, improve and embed policies, procedures and workflows to lift consistency and service quality Shape national operational standards and ensure they are understood and followed across the organisation Lead key operational projects, from concept through to successful delivery Compliance & Quality Maintain high-level compliance across all states and territories, ensuring alignment with legislation, funding contracts and audit requirements Oversee internal audit activities, file quality, data integrity and documentation Provide expert advice to the General Manager and leadership team on compliance, operational risk and continuous improvement Build a culture of audit readiness and best practice Systems & Processes Improve the efficiency and compliance of recruitment, onboarding and administrative workflows Support system enhancements, software rollouts and user training Ensure changes to systems or processes are communicated clearly and consistently About You You’re an experienced operator with a strong understanding of the Vocational Education sector and ideally the Group Training industry along with the compliance landscape that sits behind it. You enjoy improving processes, providing clarity, and helping teams deliver their best work. You’re confident interpreting legislation and navigating the finer detail that comes with a national GTO. You bring: Strong knowledge of Apprenticeships/Traineeships, GTO standards and VET practices Proven experience in Group Training operations, compliance, or a similar environment The ability to review systems, identify gaps and lift efficiency Excellent communication skills and confidence working with internal and external stakeholders Sound analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights Experience leading people, coaching teams or guiding technical specialists Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational software (JobAdder and Workforce One desirable) A current National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) If you’re passionate about meaningful work and excited by the opportunity to lead operational excellence, we want to hear from you!
