We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Learning Hub Technician to join our team. This part-time, term-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people, has a flair for organisation and presentation, and thrives in a collaborative environment. About the Role As the welcoming face of the Learning Hub, you’ll support students and staff by maintaining a well-organised, engaging space that promotes learning and literacy. Working alongside the Learning Hub Coordinator, your responsibilities will include: Assisting with day-to-day Learning Hub operations, including displays, shelving, and cleanliness. Cataloguing and classifying resources using library systems and software. Supporting circulation services and managing overdue items. Assisting students and staff with resource access and basic research support. Promoting reading initiatives and literacy programs. Providing basic technology support and liaising with IT as needed. Supervising students and supporting class visits and research projects. Assisting with administrative tasks and resource management. Essential Criteria Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check). Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates. Previous experience in customer service or front-line roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work independently or as part of a team. Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and supporting others.
