We are now seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our collaborative and ambitious team as we continue to scale. About the Role: Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Procurement Specialist will manage the end-to-end sourcing, negotiation and supplier management of key raw materials across both local and global supply networks. This role is hands-on, fast-paced and pivotal to ensuring a resilient, cost-effective and high-quality ingredient supply for our growing FMCG operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Planning, Logistics, Quality, and R&D—to support current production and contribute to innovation across our New Product Development pipeline. Key Responsibilities: Manage and strengthen relationships across a global and domestic supplier base. Source, negotiate, secure seasonal and strategic raw materials (e.g., grains, dairy, fats, flavours, plant proteins). Optimise replenishment cycles and ensure supply availability in line with demand forecasting. Monitor commodity markets, harvest cycles and currency impacts to anticipate risks. Provide insights and recommendations to inform purchasing strategy and business planning. Drive cost savings and value creation beyond price through strategic procurement initiatives. Maintain accurate costings, forecasts and risk assessments within the ERP system. Leverage data analytics to support commercial decisions and category planning. Partner with internal stakeholders to balance quality, cost, and supply assurance. Support continuous improvement in procurement processes and supplier performance. To be successful in this role, you'll bring: You are an experienced procurement professional with a strong commercial mindset, exceptional relationship management skills and an interest in natural, sustainable food ingredients. You thrive in a dynamic FMCG environment and enjoy contributing to both operational execution and strategic decision-making. 5 years’ experience in direct materials procurement, ideally in FMCG food manufacturing. Strong knowledge of food or packaging procurement, including specification management. Experience sourcing seasonal or crop-dependent commodities (highly regarded). Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship skills. Strong analytical ability: cost breakdown analysis, TCO assessments, and contract negotiation. Understanding of commodity markets, seasonality and global supply chains. Proficiency with ERP systems (Pronto, SAP, D365 or similar) and intermediate–advanced Excel.
