This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong foundation in clinical practice and a passion for empowering individuals to live independently and meaningfully. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed assessments of clients’ physical, psychological, developmental, and emotional capabilities through clinical observations and standardised testing tools. Evaluate functional performance in various environments (home, school, work, and community) and recommend modifications to promote client independence and participation. Develop and implement tailored intervention programs incorporating vocational, social, educational, recreational, and therapeutic activities, both individually and in group settings. Provide expert guidance to family members, carers, employers, and educators on environmental adaptations to support clients' ongoing needs. Recommend and supply adaptive equipment such as splints, wheelchairs, and assistive technology to help clients manage functional limitations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and effective client care planning. Offer specialist consultations for complex cases, including driver rehabilitation, compensation claims, and medico-legal assessments. Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in line with legislative and ethical standards, tracking client progress and therapeutic outcomes. Requirements Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Occupational Therapy, in line with ANZSCO Skill Level 1. Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ professional experience as an Occupational Therapist in a clinical or community setting. Registration or eligibility for registration with relevant professional boards may be required depending on regulatory requirements.
