This is an exciting opportunity to support children and families during their earliest and most important years. About the role This is an on the floor role , working directly with children families and educators throughout each day. You will spend most of your time in rooms supporting transitions modelling strategies and building meaningful connections. The Family Support and Inclusion Officer will: • Support new families through the orientation and enrolment process • Spend time in rooms assisting children to settle feel safe and form connections • Provide practical behavioural guidance to families and educators • Model inclusion strategies while working hands on with children • Initiate sensitive conversations when behavioural or developmental concerns arise • Connect families with community resources and support services • Guide families through government funding processes including ISS • Work closely with Centre Leadership Teams Room Leaders and educators to support each child’s wellbeing This role is part time twenty five hours per week across five days with the option to increase to up to thirty seven and a half hours.
