The Role Te Mania Angus is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to take on a key role within their family-owned and operated business. This position involves active participation in all aspects of the operation, including, but not limited to: managing the performance recording program (bulls), assisting with sale bull development, running the joining program, and executing pasture management and grazing plans. Reporting to the Farm Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated person to join a young and vibrant team in the role of Leading Hand. The successful applicant will assist in all aspects of cattle husbandry, primarily conducted on ag bikes, in addition to general infrastructure maintenance and repair, including fencing, with some mechanical aptitude preferred. Candidates must possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, be punctual, and have excellent communication skills.
