Job Title: Chef Location: Tullamarine, VIC Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Plan menus and design dishes based on seasonality and availability of ingredients Manage and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene are maintained Ensure that all dishes are prepared and cooked to the highest standard and presented beautifully Maintain accurate records of food costs and wastage Order and manage stock levels of ingredients and kitchen equipment Ensure that health and safety standards are met in the kitchen at all times Continuously develop and innovate new dishes to enhance the menu Requirements: No less than 12-months employment experience with Italian cuisine Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines Strong leadership and management skills A creative approach to menu design and dish presentation Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends If you are a talented and experienced Chef looking for a new challenge, please apply with your CV and a cover letter explaining why you would be the perfect candidate for this role.
