Role Summary As Sales & Marketing Manager, you will lead the growth of Silver Click Solar’s business across NSW by driving sales, building the brand, and promoting our solar solutions to both residential and commercial clients. You will develop and execute marketing strategies, oversee sales operations, manage lead generation and conversion, and represent Silver Click Solar in the market to maximise revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with installation, engineering, and customer-service teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects — while ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering on our commitment to sustainable, renewable energy solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy for Silver Click Solar’s residential and commercial solar offerings. Generate and manage leads — using digital marketing, offline campaigns, referrals, partnerships, and community outreach — to build a strong sales pipeline. Qualify leads, conduct consultations (or coordinate consultations) to assess client needs, present customized proposals, and follow up to convert leads into signed contracts. Work closely with engineering and installation teams to coordinate project hand-over once a sale is made; ensure smooth transition from sale to installation. Educate prospects and clients about solar energy benefits, government incentives (e.g. STCs), feed-in tariffs, payback cycles, savings potential — essentially acting as the face of Silver Click Solar’s value proposition. Monitor and report on sales performance metrics (sales volume, conversion rates, pipeline health, revenue), and adjust strategy accordingly to meet targets. Identify new business opportunities — residential, commercial, and small business segments — and propose expansion plans. Manage customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction; handle customer queries, concerns, and follow-ups. Manage marketing campaigns — digital (social media, web presence, SEO/SEM), offline (local advertising, referrals, community engagement), and events — to build brand awareness and credibility. Develop and maintain marketing collateral: brochures, presentations, proposals, web content describing solar solutions, benefits, pricing, and financing options. Collaborate with finance/administration to ensure accurate quoting, financing plans (e.g. payment plans), and compliance with regulatory or subsidy procedures. Stay updated with solar industry trends, regulations, government incentive schemes, and competitor offerings — use this knowledge to keep Silver Click Solar competitive. Provide regular feedback to senior management on market conditions, customer feedback, and potential improvements in product or service offerings. Lead or mentor any junior sales or marketing staff (if applicable), ensure team motivation, performance, and alignment with company goals. What We Are Looking For Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in sales and marketing — preferably in renewable energy, building products, solar, or a related technical/energy sector. A relevant qualification: diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Renewable Energy, Engineering, or similar field. Strong communication (verbal and written), presentation, and negotiation skills — able to clearly explain technical and financial benefits of solar to clients. Good understanding of sales cycles, lead generation, conversion strategies, and customer relationship management. Self-driven, results-oriented and proactive mindset; ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple internal teams (sales, engineering, installation, admin).
