UGL Defence has an Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract for the Defence Fuels network. We are recruiting an Operations Supervisor, to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation. The Opportunity Based at Edinburgh, SA, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of Operating Services include fuel operations, fuel quality, fuel tanker and association equipment operations as required. Key responsibilities: Lead, motivate and support the OA and their teams in the effective delivery of OA Services ensuring high standards of quality, cost, safety and performance are observed, achieved and expected performance targets are met Ensure employee relations are well managed and no lost time to disputes through employee engagement, strong communication of key messaging and leadership integrity through consultative processes. Recognise team members that have gone above and beyond what is expected in their day-to-day work, and equally implement disciplinary measures per UGL policies Participate in and promote pro-active risk reviews and planning for effective risk mitigation and management. Monitor and report on the status of Fuel Inventory Safety and Target Levels Monitor regional level compliance reviews for all fuel movements, testing and compliance for all relevant DFI’s. Contribute to the delivery of Continuous Improvement and Efficiency Programs. Identify and champion delivery of Value for Money (VFM) opportunities. Monitor, review, consolidate and provide accurate information, data and reporting to the Superintendent on all aspects of the DFN and Services provided throughout the regional DFI’s.
