We’ve got an opportunity in the Sippy Downs office for a Graduate Engineer who’s keen to broaden their experience and see how projects come together before they hit site. The Pre-Contracts Team is offering a hands-on rotation where you’ll get exposure to the front end of project delivery, from pricing and planning to understanding what goes into preparing a winning tender. It’s a great way to build your skills, work closely with the Estimating Team, and get a deeper understanding of how our projects start. As part of this role, you will be involved in: • Procure & Evaluate: Prepare and issue RFQs, and assist with subcontractor and supplier quote reviews to identify best value for money. • Collaborate: Work closely with estimating, operations, and corporate services to see the full tender process in action. • Develop Technically: Complete quantity take-offs, review direct and indirect costs, and understand how pricing decisions are made. • Review & Analyse: Go through tender documentation - specs, approvals, and drawings, and help prepare executive summaries outlining key risks and opportunities. • Plan Construction Approaches: Support the team in developing construction methodologies and approach statements. • Use Key Systems: Gain practical experience with Expert Estimating, MS Project, and PowerPoint to support tender preparation and presentations. • Join Tender Reviews: Sit in on tender review meetings to see how SEE CIVIL’s bids are assessed and finalised.
