I-MED Radiology has an opportunity for a Casual Registered Nurse to join the busy team in our Warragul and Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH) clinic located in Traralgon. This opportunity would suit an experienced nurse looking to work in an interventional clinic. Reporting to the Area Nurse Coordinator and working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team you will provide high quality nursing support and recovery services to the clinic. Additional training available for the right candidate. Key accountabilities include: Assist the Radiologist for interventional procedures, including gaining informed consent and medical history assessment, monitoring baseline observations and recovering patients post procedure. Interventional Procedures Include: port insertions/nephrostomies/embolization, Biopsies, Lumbar Punctures, Drainages and Pain Management Injections. Working collaboratively with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, technical and administrative staff and managers Key selection criteria: Full AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse Proven acute nursing experience Demonstrated ability to work effectively and autonomously within a multidisciplinary team Strong interpersonal and communication skills Well-developed time management and organisational skills Ability to work a flexible roster Previous Experience in Radiology/Surgical/Procedural Nursing Desirable but not essential How do you apply?
