We’re seeking a proactive, detail-driven Payroll Officer to support our business and ensure our people are paid accurately and on time. Why You’ll Love Working With Us • West Perth corporate office • Work closely with HR, Finance and site-based teams • Stable, well-established mining company with growth ahead What You’ll Do • Process end-to-end payroll for monthly salaries and fortnightly wages with the support of our Senior Payroll Officer • Maintain accurate employee and payroll records in SAP • Process new starters, terminations, leave, salary sacrifice, super & adjustments • Assist Finance and HR with monthly, ad hoc and year-end reporting • Provide accurate payroll data to internal stakeholders and external partners • Resolve payroll queries professionally and promptly • Ensure full compliance with legislation, Awards, EAs and internal policies • Assist with workers compensation claims and reporting What You’ll Bring • 2-3 years’ payroll experience in a medium-sized organisation • SAP payroll experience or similar • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance • Excellent accuracy, organisation and time management • Clear communication skills with staff at all levels • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team • High level of discretion and confidentiality Bonus: experience in mining, resources or an industrial environment.
