Our client URGENTLY requires a Student Engineer for a 5 months Contract in Nerang. This role is up to 2-3 days per week during semesters, and full-time during University holidays, to work within a team that provides support services to external customers (third parties) who wish to carry out temporary works/activities or locate their structures/assets within Road/Transport Corridor, in accordance with various State and Federal legislation. Responsibilities include: Assist with planning studies including investigate, analyse and review of traffic and transport options and solutions for the upgrades and future state-controlled network. Analyse, review and provide recommendation and advice for third party works within the road corridor, including public utility and plant works. Review proposed corridor works including new or changed accesses (driveways), new road works and other works proposed within the state-controlled road corridor. Provide technical advice and assistance in traffic engineering, geotechnical, stormwater and road safety to other officers. Government experience would be highly advantageous. Top $'s Paid !
