Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Bush Regeneration Officer , carrying out bush regeneration activities across a variety of project sites to support the delivery of Council's Delivery and Operational Plans. Desired Skills and Experience Your value proposition to us: Certificate III in Bush Regeneration or equivalent qualification in Natural Resource Management Demonstrated experience in bush regeneration or environmental restoration Knowledge and experience in herbicide application, recording and notification requirements Experience using and maintaining plant and equipment (e.g. brush cutters, chainsaws) Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications. Your average workday will be kept busy by: Undertake bush regeneration works including tree planting, weed control and related activities. Assist with weed biosecurity surveillance and control under direction of the Bush Regeneration & Weed Control Team Leader. Carry out landscape and grounds maintenance across work sites. Complete daily work activity reports including timesheets, site conditions, monitoring data, compliance documents and species lists. Participate in nursery activities including seed collection and plant propagation. Undertake risk assessments and work in accordance with the WHS Act 2011 and Council policies. Operate chainsaws and other plant/equipment required for the role. Conduct routine maintenance of equipment and machinery. This is more than just a move, it's a transformation.
