HR & Recruitment Intern Location: Sydney, Australia Type: Internship (Unpaid) Duration: 12 weeks Schedule: 3 days per week About the Role We are looking for a motivated HR & Recruitment Intern to support our Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams in delivering key HR and recruitment activities. This internship offers hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operations, providing exposure to professional HR practices within an Australian workplace. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates seeking practical experience in HR and recruitment. Key Responsibilities Assist in posting job advertisements and managing applications through ATS/HR systems. Support the screening of resumes and scheduling of interviews. Maintain candidate and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in onboarding activities, including induction sessions, compliance checks, and documentation. Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, training, and development. Communicate with internal teams and candidates professionally. Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and documentation as required. Conduct basic research to support HR strategy and talent sourcing. Provide administrative support to HR and Recruitment teams as needed. Skills & Qualifications Essential: Currently studying (or recently graduated from) Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Interest in HR, recruitment, and employee engagement. Desirable: Familiarity with ATS/HRIS systems (e.g., JobAdder, BambooHR, Workday). Basic understanding of recruitment workflows and HR operations. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Awareness of Australian workplace legislation is a plus.
