About the role This dynamic and busy role will utilise your experience in Medical Response & Injury and Health Management and offer rewarding career opportunity. You will be part of the site emergency response team by providing first response to all incidents. Duties include but are not limited to: Deliver onsite emergency medical response and pre-hospital care. Respond to Emergencies and Incident Reponses onsite Conduct routine drug and alcohol screenings. Maintain and test emergency response equipment and systems. Participate in training drills, Mock Scenarios and verifications of competencies Support site-wide compliance in emergency preparedness. Skills & experience 5 years of experience in emergency services or related field. Background in emergency management, fire services, defence or similar. Strong knowledge of emergency response protocols and procedures. Strong medical knowledge associated with emergency response. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. Ability to work collaboratively with other emergency services agencies and stakeholders Proactive & Solution focused Physically fit and ready for the demands of the job To be successful in this role, you must possess these essential qualifications: Medium Rigid Drivers license or above, Enter and work in confined space (needs to be within last 3 years), RIIWHS204E – Working safely at heights (needs to be within last 3 years), PUASAR025 – Undertake confined space rescue, HLTAID009 – Provide CPR, HLTAID011 – Provide first aid, HLTAID014 – Provide advanced first aid, PUAEQU001 – Prepare, maintain, and test response equipment, PUAFIR207 – Operate breathing apparatus open circuit, PUASAR022 – Participate in rescue operations, PUASAR032 – Undertake vertical rescue, RIIERR210E – Conduct fire team operations or 1. PUAFIR203 – Respond to Urban fire or 2.
